Chesterfield is a county in Virginia. It was formed in 1749 from the following county/ies: Henrico. Chesterfield began keeping birth records in , marriage records in 1770, and death records in 1855. It began keeping land records in 1749, probate records in 1740, and court records in 1746. For more information, contact the county at P.O. Box 40 Chesterfield 23832-0040.
