Chelan is a county in Washington. It was formed in 1899 from the following county/ies: Kittitas/Okanogan. Chelan began keeping birth records in 1899, marriage records in 1900, and death records in 1900. It began keeping land records in 1882, probate records in 1888, and court records in 1876.
