Caroline is a county in Virginia. It was formed in 1728 from the following county/ies: Essex/King and Queen/ King William. Caroline began keeping birth records in 1864, marriage records in 1787, and death records in 1865. It began keeping land records in 1728, probate records in 1732, and court records in 1665.
