Burke is a county in Georgia. It was formed in 1777 from the following county/ies: St. George Parish. Burke began keeping birth records in 1927, marriage records in 1855, and death records in 1927. It began keeping land records in 1843, probate records in 1856, and court records in 1856. For more information, contact the county at P.O. Box 89, Waynesboro 30830.
