Buffalo is a county in South Dakota. It was formed in 1864 (1871) from the following county/ies: Bruguier/Charles Mix/unorganized *Bon Homme. Buffalo began keeping birth records in , marriage records in 1887, and death records in . It began keeping land records in 1885, probate records in 1884, and court records in 1890.
