Davis, Georgia Research (Atlanta: Georgia Genealogical Society, 2002). James E. Dorsey's Georgia Genealogy and Local History (Spartanburg, S.C.: Reprint Co., 1983) offers articles and abstracts of Georgia records. It was updated annually in the Georgia Historical Quarterly until 1989 when the Georgia Genealogical Society Quarterly began publishing the updates.
