Audubon is a county in Iowa. It was formed in 1851 (1855) from the following county/ies: Pottawattomie/ unorganized (Dallas/Mahaska/Monroe/Polk) *Cass. Audubon began keeping birth records in 1880, marriage records in 1856, and death records in 1880. It began keeping land records in 1853, probate records in 1871, and court records in 1855.
