Androscoggin is a county in Maine. It was formed in 1854 from the following county/ies: Cumberland/Oxford/Kennebec/Lincoln. Androscoggin began keeping marriage records in 1851'84 now located at the Maine State Archives. It began keeping land records in 1854, and probate records in 1854.
